Archaeology Dig

An archaeological dig is ongoing under the Winter Kitchen. The Winter Kitchen is the oldest section of the Ketcham Inn, know as the settlement cottage. It was built circa 1693-1700. Many artifacts have been uncovered by our archaeologist. We are currently in the process of clean the artifacts, once clean the archaeologist will date and describe the pottery shards and other artifacts. Some of the artifacts will be exhibited at the Ketcham Inn for the Grand Re-opening on July 4, 2015.
